The flat-bike-lift is designed to be fitted directly to flat concrete ceilings, using the anchors included. For drywall ceilings (or open beams) with 16″/24″ O/C spaced joists, a bracket or a structure linking two studs is needed. Our item BRK comes with all the hardware and can be installed both perpendicular and parallel to the joists direction.
