The widest handlebar for a bike to be stored with the flat-bike-lift in the horizontal position against the ceiling is 64 cms. For the MTB handlebars which exceed this size, there are the following solutions or a mix of them:
Set the two endstrokes so as the flat-bike-lift is stopped not completely horizontal. If the endstrokes are set to stop the beam with a 10° angle respect to the ceiling, for example, it’s possible to store a bike with a handlebar up to 80 cms. wide, with the space occupied by the handle rising to 66 cms.
Fit the saddle locking set on the opposite side of the beam. By such a reverse assembly, bikes with up to 75.6 cms. wide handlebars can be stored in the standard parking position with the flat-bike-lift parallel to the ceiling and just the handlebar taking up the widest space.
Use this optional to steer the handlebar. Easy to fit, running adjustable, it permits to store the bike with its handlebar rotated 30° downward. For the MTB largest handlebars.
